Care Guide

Light

The Asparagus Fern thrives in medium indirect light. Lighting extremes such as dark corners and harsh direct sun should be avoided.

Water and Soil

The Asparagus Fern will do best with evenly moist soil. This plant loves moisture, but care should be taken to ensure the soil stays just moist, and never becomes wet or soggy. Well-draining soil that is amended with peat moss and perlite is best for these plants.

Temperature and Humidity

These ferns typically prefer temperatures ranging from 60 degrees to 80 degrees F. The Asparagus Fern will do best with moderate to high humidity levels. These plants do well in a bathroom or kitchen, or near a humidifier or sink where they can receive added moisture in the air.
