Begonia Exotica | Begonia brevirimosa subsp.
This unusual and hard to find Begonia is quite the showstopper. Unfortunately, pictures do not do this plant justice when it comes to its vibrant pink and green leaves. The Begonia brevirimosa has a shrub-like growing habit and will reach around 3' in height at maturity. It leaves get quite large - around 8" to 12" in length. This beauty is a must have for any begonia collector.
Please Note: Due to the fragile nature of this plants foliage please expect that there may be some leaves that experience damage during shipping. Please contact us within 24 hours of receiving this plant if you feel that more than just leaves/foliage suffered damage during shipping.

Begonias love sun, and these plants prefer medium to bright indirect light. Harsh, direct light should be avoided, as it can burn and fade the foliage of the Angel Wing.
Water and Soil
Begonias like their soil to be kept evenly moist during the growing season, but it will not harm this plant to allow it to dry out a bit between watering. Make sure the top layer (1-2") of soil is dry before providing more water. A well draining soil can be achieved by amending a standard potting mix with perlite, charcoal, and/or bark.
Temperature and Humidity
Begonias thrive in temperatures around 70 degrees F. Cold drafts and temperatures below 60 degrees F may damage this plants foliage and should be avoided. This plant normally does well in the moderate humidity found in an average home. Higher humidity can be achieved with a humidifier or pebble tray.
