Dischidia Ruscifolia | 'Million Hearts' Dischidia | Hanging Basket
Dischidia ruscifolia is commonly called "Million Hearts" because of its long, vining stems that are covered in pairs of heart-shaped, lush green leaves. These long cascading vines can grow upwards of 3 feet in length. We love this plant because it is a semi-succulent and somewhat care-free relative to the Hoya genus. Dischidia naturally grows as an epiphyte and is found in the Philippines. This epiphytic nature makes it a popular plant for mounting as it requires little root space to thrive. When happy and thriving, this plant will reward you by producing tiny pink flowers all over the vines.
