Mona Lisa Lipstick Plant | Aeschynanthus radicans
Lipstick plants are generally easy to care for and rewarding to own. These plants have thick semi-succulent stems and leaves, meaning they are equipped to survive drought. These plants originate mainly from the subtropics of southern Asia.

4" Nursery Pot: 8" H x 6" W
The Lipstick plant thrives in bright indirect light. These plants can tolerate lower or medium light but will only bloom when provided with bright sun exposure.
Water and Soil
Lipstick plants are semi-succulent, and need their soil to dry out partially between waterings. Water only when the top 1-2” of soil are dry. This plant tends to prefer more evenly moist soil during the growing season, while it can be allowed to dry out more between waterings in the off season. An absorbent yet well draining medium is essential, and bark, perlite or lava rock can be added to soil to provide better drainage.
Temperature and Humidity
The lipstick plant does well in warm indoor temperatures ranging from 65 to 80 degrees F. Temperatures below 50 degrees F should be avoided as cold can be damaging to Lipstick’s foliage. This plant does not require added humidity, but will appreciate a bit of extra moisture in the air especially during summer and spring (growing) seasons.
