Care Guide

Light

These plants thrive in medium to bright indirect light. Avoid lighting extremes, such as direct sun and dark corners. Direct sunlight can burn and damage the foliage.

Water and Soil

The Parsley Aralia likes to dry by about 30% between waterings. Like most all plants, the Aralia are susceptible to root rot if their soil remains too wet or soggy. Amending a standard well-draining potting soil with peat moss will help to keep your plants roots evenly moist, while the addition of perlite will ensure that proper drainage and root aeration are provided.

Temperature and Humidity

Prefers room temperatures between 60 degrees F and 80 degrees F. Temperatures shouldn’t drop below 60 degrees and cold, drafty areas should be avoided as this could damage the foliage. This plant prefers moderate to high humidity levels. Misting the plant a few times a week, placing on a pebble tray, or introducing a humidifier are good ways provide humidity.
