Scindapsus pictus Hybrid or Silvery Anne/Silver Ann, also known as Satin Pothos/Silk Pothos, or Silver Philodendron is a tropical indoor houseplant that gets its name from its variegated silver foliage. This beautiful plant has dark to light green, tear shaped leaves that are lined and spotted with silver flecking that shimmers in any light. Silvery Anne is a trailing plant that looks beautiful cascading over the edges of any pot or hanging basket. Great for offices with fluorescent or natural light. This plant is hardy and easy to care for.

Light

This plant thrives in medium to bright filtered or indirect light. Avoid direct sun.

Water and Soil

Keep constantly moist during the growing season. Reduce watering during the winter months. Prefers a peat moss rich potting soil.

Temperature and Humidity

Prefers room temperatures between 65 degrees F and 85 degrees F. Don't let temperatures drop below  60 degrees as this could damage the foliage.

Scindapsus Pictus is a trailing plant that prefers to climb or drape from a hanging basket. Trim stems to shape as needed. New plants can be propagated from 4-inch stem cuttings.
