Care Guide
Light
String of Dolphins will thrive in bright, indirect light. This plant loves sun, but should be shielded from harsh or direct afternoon rays which may burn its leaves.
Water and Soil
The String of Dolphins is a succulent, and it can stand to dry out a bit between waterings. If you see your dolphins become wrinkly or they no longer feel rigid to the touch, this most likely means your plant needs water. Generally, the String of Dolphins does well to allow the top 2.5” of soil to dry between waterings. Well-draining potting soil that is amended with a bit of perlite and peat moss is perfect for this plant.
Temperature and Humidity
Senecio peregrinus prefers room temperatures between 65 degrees F and 85 degrees F. The String of Dolphins does not require high humidity, but this plant can still benefit from added humidity.
